What does this Involve?
Initial Assessment:
-
A full assessment completed prior to treatment, including gaining a full and comprehensive history of your animal. A static assessment will also be completed with your animal stood square. A dynamic assessment of your animal is also completed, with a joint range of motion assessment. A palpation assessment is completed last to identify areas of treatment.
Treatment:
-
Following assessment, a tailored treatment session will be completed. This will include a combination of massage, stretching, kinesiology taping, and electro-therapies deemed appropriate following assessment. Please see the page "What is Physiotherapy".
Remedial Exercise:
-
A remedial exercise plan will be put in place to prolong the beneficial effects of physiotherapy. This can be a couple of exercises more easily incorporated into busy lifestyles, or an entire in-depth exercise plan day to day to be completed between physiotherapy sessions.
